The Fountain Valley Police Department does not maintain a holding jail for arrestees. They do, on a case-by-case basis, work with bondsman and will hold them at the Fountain Valley Police Department for a short time while the arrestee arranges for bail. If arrangements cannot be made, they will be moved to the Orange County Jail in Santa Ana.

Processing Time: From when someone arrives and starts the booking process, it is fairly quick, a half hour to an hour before they will be available to be bailed out.

Once a bail bond is deposited for release, they will usually be released in less than 30 minutes.
